Whoever thought of sending a code via email when trying to log in to a web site should be forced to spend the rest of their life doing so. There’s very few things more irritating. How did anyone see this and think, “Yeah, that’s a good user experience. All they have to do is enter their email address, click a button to send a code, switch to their email client, keep hitting refresh until the email arrives, copy the code, switch back to the browser, paste the code in and click another button. What could be easier?”. I appreciate security but there are better ways to do it.

Makes sense to me. Good job saving all that money, Big Corporations. Oh, where have all the devs gone?

My first vibe coded app built using Google AIStudio. Tried it mostly out of curiosity but it also has functionality I’ve not seen elsewhere and that I find genuinely useful. Free, no ads, no tracking. Happy for any feedback. play.google.com/store/app…
